The particularly spicy aromatic smell of these flowers reminded our testing team of the aroma of a stew that simmered slowly on Grandma's hob for hours. Aromas of garlic, cloves, nutmeg, and wild mushrooms come together in Granny's Home. The Seedstockers testing team member who opened a bag of buds during the first test immediately exclaimed: "This smells just like the good old days at my grandmother's house!". The best phenotype was chosen and thus Granny's Home was born.

At Seedstockers Seeds, we were a bit tired of the endless variety of "gassy" hybrid collectible seeds and felt it was time to look for genetics that offered more than a flat Diesel flavour, as if we were behind a noisy lorry. The search for new, complex, and layered phenotypes around the "gassy" spectrum led us to 2 cultivars: an elite, sweet "gassy" GMO clone from the Barcelona region, which we crossed with a spicy and kushy phenotype of our own regular Thunder Dawg. There were interesting specimens in the first generation, but it took another 3 generations until we obtained stable offspring. We named this F3 selection Granny's Home, as an expression of love for our grandmothers and the sweet memories of their cooking. The parents of Granny's Home are GMO and Thunder Dawg.

Granny's Home has a unique and complex flavour and aroma profile. The warm, spicy smell, described as "Spicy", is also reflected in the taste, which has a sweet side in addition to the spicy. The combination of garlic, cloves, nutmeg, and mushrooms is the most prominent, reminiscent of a comforting homemade stew.

Granny's Home is a potent strain, with a high THC content ranging from 20% to 26%. Despite the potency, its effect is described as "Happy Chill" — a happy and gentle relaxation, very suitable for daytime use or during social activities, similar to many Sativa strains. It is an excellent choice for growers looking for powerful effects combined with an exceptional terpene profile.

Granny's Home is an Indica-dominant feminized collectible strain, recommended for intermediate growers. In cultivation, this plant behaves like a compact Indica, displaying beautiful colouring that can vary to shades of purple and orange, with beautiful orange pistils. The flowering period is approximately 9 weeks. Although it is a little longer than that of other fast strains, the wait is rewarded with a high ("Big") and very high-quality yield. Being feminized seeds, they guarantee that the plants will be female, ensuring that you will harvest only clean, resinous buds.
