Rucu Cucu OG was born from an exclusive collaboration between Seedstockers and the renowned Argentinian rapper Homer el Mero Mero, a long-time friend of the brand and passionate about premium collectibles. Based on his flavour, aroma, and effect preferences, our breeders created one of the most special feminized seeds in the Seedstockers collection — and the result exceeded all expectations.

After 5 generations of selection, we found the perfect specimen — the phenotype that became the legendary Rucu Cucu OG. This high-quality strain was created by crossing a special Tangie cut, selected for its intense tangerine aroma and high production, with an original OG Kush clone from the USA. The result is something incredible that certainly won't go unnoticed if smoked on the street. You've been warned!

The intense tangerine aroma is pungent. The flavour is a mix between the sweet/citrus of Tangie and the gassy/woody touch of OG Kush. To fully enjoy the strong smell and incredible flavour, we recommend growing in soil (organic, if possible).

THC levels are incredibly high; grown correctly, it can reach up to 30% THC. The effect is heavy, exactly what our friend Homer el Mero Mero was looking for after following the selection processes from start to finish. On a recent visit to Barcelona, he had the opportunity to taste the final result after a long selection process and, with just one puff, he said:

The overall effect is described as a relaxing and happy euphoria.

The plant is vigorous, robust, and easy to grow, requiring only 8 weeks of flowering. The smell of Rucu Cucu OG can be quite intense during flowering, so we recommend using a good carbon filter to avoid curious glances from neighbours!

Indoor Growing

If grown indoors, breeders recommend keeping an eye on your girls during the 3rd and 4th week of flowering, as it tends to stretch occasionally, especially if grown with sodium lamps. The plant responds well to different growing methods, such as SCROG (highly recommended), SOG, topping, and FIM.

Outdoor Growing

Outdoor cultivation provides great satisfaction, as the plant grows incredibly well in different conditions and is resistant to mould and high temperatures. The yield is massive, and harvest occurs around the last week of September or the first week of October (in the Northern Hemisphere).
