About this strain

We are pleased to present our newest hit: Terp & Tonic© autoflowering seeds! If you're looking for a first-class collectible strain that's easy to grow, look no further! This new variety guarantees an exciting journey through a fusion of premium genetics that, when hybridised with a high-yielding autoflower, create a robust and flavourful autoflowering collectible plant. In addition to the simplicity and speed of this non-photoperiodic gem, you'll also benefit from its delicious terpenes and potent effects.

Genetic origins of Terp & Tonic autoflowering seeds

To begin, let's dive into the genetic lineage of Terp & Tonic Auto. This strain is not just any plant: it has something special in its DNA that will take you on an incredible adventure! And you'll fully understand this when you know where it lays its roots.

When our Seedstockers breeders decided to cross two such attractive genetics as Freakum Zkittlez and Ghost Tonic to create our Terp & Tonic Fem, they couldn't have chosen a better way to complete the process than by granting this beauty the autoflowering genes of our impeccable Panty Punch Auto. And, in doing so, they brought the generous yield capacity of this best-selling variety to everyone. If you're already familiar with these three parent strains, you certainly know why this was a masterstroke.

As the red ball, we have Freakum Zkittlez, an Indica-dominant hybrid known for its explosive fruity flavour and its combination of physical and mental effects that lead to a multifaceted experience. This is a robust and easy-to-grow plant that develops quickly, making it a great choice for breeding collectible strains with new terpene profiles and potent effects.

As the yellow ball, we have Ghost Tonic, an Indica-dominant collectible strain known for both its smooth, sweet smoke and its therapeutic properties. This gem stands out for its complex genetics, which offer a complete effect for body and mind, and can be extremely useful in treating pain, stress, anxiety, or insomnia.

But for the perfect shot, we needed the white ball, which in this case is none other than Party Punch Auto, a renowned autoflower for its potent THC content (which can exceed 30%) and its massive yield potential. This plant fully encapsulates the essence of innovation in collectible cultivation, which is why it earned a direct place in the ‘Seedstockers Superior’ category, a dedication our seed bank grants only to the most precious gems.

When we put all these players on the green felt of genetic selection, the result is Terp & Tonic Auto, a strain that will not only enchant your senses but also exceed your harvest expectations. It is the perfect ally for those seeking high-potency sensations and enormous harvests in the shortest possible time. There’s no doubt that our Seedstockers breeders have once again outdone themselves with this surprising contribution to the collectible universe!

Morphology and structure of Terp & Tonic Auto

You might wonder what the dominance of this strain is. Although its complex parental profile means it is a hybrid, it is well known for its Sativa characteristics, even though it is a fully balanced variety (but with a 60% leaning towards the Sativa side).

Thus, Terp & Tonic autoflowering seeds produce medium-sized plants with a robust and vigorous growth pattern, featuring short internodes, relatively large fan leaves with thin leaflets, and a main cola that can easily exceed 1 metre in height, surrounded by several satellite lateral branches that provide support and stability. There’s no doubt that this plant has an incredible structure that is neither too tall nor too stretchy… It's simply a producing monster!

Terp & Tonic Auto is also characterised by its incredibly large and voluminous flowers, laden with trichomes that sparkle like stars in the night sky, claiming its great genetic heritage. The extreme density of the buds is a monument to the attention to detail and effort that went into their creation and stabilisation.

These buds explode with a vitality that matches their charming rainbow exterior, perfectly complementing the fascinating appearance of this plant. And you will be delighted by the presence of numerous stigmas that emerge brazenly, acquiring tones ranging from snow-white to ochre, or even as dark as deep purple. These leafy buds are already vibrant, but it’s the dusting of trichomes, the burst of sugar leaves, and the bright orange pistils that will truly leave you open-mouthed.

Upon closer admiration, you’ll notice they are covered in a sparkling resin that reflects light like precious jewels… A frosty coating that gleams like a winter sunrise, with microscopic crystals protruding from every inch to release that glorious and highly coveted resin for which the collectible is known.

Aromatic profile of Terp & Tonic Auto: a symphony of smells

Terp & Tonic Auto is renowned for its rich and complex aromatic profile: a pungent, earthy smell with hints of citrus and pine that offers a sensory experience that is both new and familiar at the same time.

Consider a symphony of fragrances that combine the sweet allure of caryophyllene, the spicy charm of limonene, the familiar warmth of myrcene, and the freshness of pinene. Imagine crumbling these sticky buds as the air fills with a fresh, citrusy aroma. It's like peeling an orange right under your nose!

Once lit, you might eventually notice a strong smell of pine and aniseed mint, reminiscent of a damp aroma, like freshly cut grass. The citrus and herbal aroma of Terp & Tonic Auto floats effortlessly, flowing through the nostrils until it reaches the throat. Needless to say, this entire olfactory experience is a true pleasure and a prelude to the incredible taste of this herb.

Flavour of Terp & Tonic Autoflowering: A gin and tonic in your mouth

The fascinating appeal of Terp & Tonic autoflowering seeds is an invitation to discover a score of flavours that only Mother Nature can offer. Prepare for an orchestra of sensations as its first sweet notes envelop your tongue before a citrus explosion awakens your palate. Subtle floral nuances bring an exquisite touch, with a pleasant dance of red berry flavours that help produce a delicious pot-pourri of perceptions. And that's not all. A creamy touch adds a velvety smoothness to each inhalation; and when you think you've tasted everything, a subtle bitter undertone offers a surprising and seductive contrast.

When you try it, you'll feel these flavours dancing on your tongue: pine and lemon intertwined with earthy nuances that will remind you of a walk through a lush forest. People are often intrigued by the smoothness of this herb's smoke. There's no harshness, but rather a fresh, creamy smoke that is easily absorbed and leaves a pleasant aftertaste, as if you were drinking a gin and tonic with lemon. Let your taste buds revel!

Effects of Terp & Tonic Auto

Terp & Tonic Auto is generally considered a potent collectible strain, though not excessively so. Its THC levels typically range between 20% and 26%, depending on the phenotype, and it is this high THC count that partly contributes to its reputation. Alongside THC, this variety also contains a mix of other cannabinoids found in smaller doses, which include CBD and CBG in slightly higher levels.

In addition to amplifying the organoleptic experience, Terp & Tonic Auto's rich terpene profile also helps shape its potency. For example:

  • Beta-caryophyllene, which stands out as the only terpene with cannabinoid characteristics, allows direct interaction with the CB2 receptors found in our endocannabinoid system.
  • Myrcene, known as the "couch-lock effect" terpene, exhibits anti-inflammatory and anxiolytic properties, and also has a reputation for enhancing the effects of THC.
  • Pinene, a terpene valued for its bronchodilator and anti-inflammatory effects, shows interesting potential as an agent for improving concentration and memory due to its effects on neurotransmission.

Recreational Effects

So, how does Terp & Tonic Auto make you feel, given that it has all these aces up its sleeve? The effects generally include a combination of mental and physical sensations, although many users report a two-phase wave, which is euphoric at first and then super relaxing.

These slow, discreet effects can enter your system and possess your body with a calm, cool lethargy. Strong and palpable, yet controlled and non-intrusive, this herb illuminates the mind with its gentle and friendly effects, promising to lift your spirits without disturbing your soul.

This gentle impact, which caresses with delicate and loving tenderness, is a cocktail of sensations that silently watches over your mind while warding off any bad thoughts and discomforts that might prevent you from feeling better. As this strain envelops you beneath its multiple layers, it transports you to a new dimension through its physical effects.

After the first puff, your body will explode with a tingling sensation that will completely invade you, making you feel uplifted and entirely positive. This strength won't disappear until hours after the come-down; and, as the effect spreads from head to toe, you’ll be overcome with a sense of creativity and an unshakeable desire to impart happiness to everyone around you.

But don't forget that individual reactions to collectibles can vary widely, so the specific effects you experience will depend on factors such as dose, tolerance, or personal physiology.

Therapeutic Properties

In addition to its recreational appeal, Terp & Tonic Auto can also earn a place in the medicinal collectible community. This strain's ability to provide a balanced high without overwhelming sedation means it's a versatile option for therapeutic users. Patients have reported finding relief for a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and insomnia.

Due to these sedative effects, Terp & Tonic Auto can also alleviate muscle aches, tension, and headaches, and is often recommended for the treatment of chronic pain and severe cramps. And those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder will also find relief in this strain. Like many other hybrids, Terp & Tonic Auto can also induce the 'munchies', making it potentially useful for people with appetite problems.

Cultivation of Terp & Tonic Auto

Terp & Tonic autoflowering seeds are ideal for both novice and experienced growers, as they produce exceptionally resilient plants that can thrive in a wide range of growing environments. Furthermore, their life cycle is only 9 weeks, so you won't have to wait long to enjoy their abundant yields.

So, if you're looking for a collectible strain with incredible effects, amazing flavour, and reliable growth patterns, try Terp & Tonic autoflowering seeds from Seedstockers! Simply place our seeds in the soil, or any other growing medium… And without much effort, you'll see how they begin to work their magic to reward you with exceptional quality buds.

Terp & Tonic Auto is a tolerant strain that can withstand minor setbacks and still reward you with generous yields, as it does not easily succumb to common diseases like mould and fungi.

This plant loves to have plenty of space to grow, although it barely stretches during flowering. It grows slowly until the third week of the vegetative phase, and then stretches between the fourth and fifth week of pre-flowering, before holding back until the end. Prepare the soil properly: it should be well-drained but still retain enough water to prevent dehydration. The substrate should also be spongy and aerated so that the roots can expand well.

If you want to make your own soil, there are several combinations you can use. One of the most common recipes is the following: 40% high-quality black soil and/or compost as the base for your growing medium (they have the highest nutrient content in the mix and can be used together or separately); 25% peat (its function is to retain water and nutrients, aerate the substrate, and reduce its compaction); 10% vermiculite and 10% perlite (they have high water retention and oxygenation capacity); and, finally, 15% worm humus (it has a significant nutrient content, helps regulate pH, and maintains the soil's microlife).

Nutrition Plan

To ensure an abundant yield, it is vital to provide Terp & Tonic with a well-balanced nutrient regimen. Maintain a constant irrigation programme, avoiding overwatering, which can cause root rot: it is better to water frequently but in small amounts to avoid saturating the substrate.

It is common for novices to overload their plants with too many nutrients, which can cause them to burn. Photoperiod plants have larger roots, but those of autoflowers are comparatively smaller, so nutrients need to be adjusted accordingly. For example, if your nutrient chart recommends 5 ml/L, start with 2.5 or 1.25 ml (i.e., ½ or ¼ of the concentration) and see how the plant responds.

Terp & Tonic Auto needs varying amounts of NPK at different stages of development, but these are typically as follows:

  • Vegetative growth phase: NPK ratio: 2:1:1 or similar (e.g., 10:5:5). During this phase, plants need more nitrogen to promote growth and branching.
  • Early flowering phase: NPK ratio: 1:2:2 or similar (e.g., 5:10:10). As plants begin to flower, they need more phosphorus to promote flower and bud development.
  • Late flowering or ripening phase: NPK ratio: 0:3:3 or similar (e.g., 0:15:15). During this phase, plants need more potassium to support flower development and promote bud ripening.

You should also monitor pH levels regularly to ensure optimal nutrient absorption. Terp & Tonic Auto grows best with a pH range between 6.2 and 6.8 (vegetative) / 6.5 and 7.0 (flowering) when grown in substrate; and 5.8 – 6.2 (vegetative) / 5.5 – 6.5 (flowering) when grown hydroponically.

Indoor Cultivation

Terp & Tonic Auto requires a lot of light. Therefore, indoor growers should strive for an 18/6 lighting cycle to achieve the best results. This photoperiod can also be extended to 20/4, and some growers even give this strain up to 24 hours of light from start to harvest. However, this is not recommended because plants also need some rest and time to recover.

Your plants need to develop at a comfortable temperature ranging from 23 to 28°C during the vegetative phase, and between 22 and 26°C during the flowering phase. Therefore, good air circulation is essential to ensure these levels and create an ideal environment for them to flourish and produce compact, voluminous buds, which are the defining characteristic of this variety.

Outdoor Cultivation

When grown outdoors, these plants thrive in warm, sunny environments. If not exposed to frost, they can tolerate lower temperatures, although they prefer a dry Mediterranean climate. If you live in a part of the world with a colder climate and shorter summers, planting from June to September (before the first autumn rains arrive) will yield the best results.

It is in the summer season that Terp & Tonic Auto performs best outdoors: during this period of the year, the sun shines and illuminates more strongly, so the leaves receive greater solar radiation. The same happens with light intensity, which is also present for more hours throughout the day. The result? This beast's yield capacity goes through the roof!

Final Tips for Optimising Results

Every plant is different, and many factors influence your harvest. The most important thing with Terp & Tonic Auto is to make the most of the available time from the first minute of germination, without causing excesses or deficiencies that could delay the plants from reaching their scheduled end on time. Therefore, consider the following tips:

  • Pruning or training? Effective training methods such as Low Stress Training (LST) can improve yields by increasing light penetration and airflow. However, high-stress methods involving aggressive pruning are not advised, as they can stress the plants and not allow enough time for them to recover.
  • Harvest optimisation: One of the best methods for growing Terp & Tonic Auto is Sea of Green (SOG), which works best with short, compact plants like these. This technique involves a short vegetative period to create a green sea of collectible plants, to maximise yield in a reduced growing space.
  • Avoid transplants: Terp & Tonic Auto does not like to be transplanted because it slows down its growth. Therefore, you should grow your plants in their final pot from the beginning. It is best to give them plenty of space (using 5 to 20 litre pots) so that the roots can expand.
  • Harvest tip: Determining the ideal cutting time is crucial to capture the full spectrum of Terp & Tonic Auto's flavours and effects. Keeping an eye on the trichomes to detect their colour change (from clear white to milky white or amber) will indicate maximum maturity, usually between 56 and 70 days after the start of flowering.
  • Root flushing: If you want your buds to taste great, you should flush the roots approximately one week before harvest. From that point on, give them only water without nutrients, until you see water drain out of the holes. With this process, you will be removing all accumulated nutrients in the roots.

Yield

This plant is an ace up your sleeve, as it tends to produce amazing yields. It is the brilliant result of an arduous selection process, and if you treat it like a queen, it will reward you with enormous benefits. Indoors, it can produce between 400 and 500 grams per square metre. When grown outdoors, you can expect an even more generous yield of about 100 to 200 grams per plant. There are no limits to nature's generosity!

Its rapid growth is one of its greatest features, as it allows you to anticipate the harvest of its buds (which will be ready in just 9 to 10 weeks from germination). Indoors, you can grow up to 4 consecutive crops per year, and you can get two consecutive harvests per season if you are growing outdoors… or even three if October tends to be dry in your region!

Is Terp & Tonic Auto suitable for concentrates?

Rich and resinous, Terp & Tonic Auto is more than a likely candidate for trichome extraction and processing. As a derivative of collectibles, this variety offers strong Sativa effects that make it a wonderful tincture for daytime use. And for those suffering from the common discomfort of body aches and restless thoughts, a Terp & Tonic Auto concentrate can be a quick and easy-to-use solution without much effort.
