To create Tropical Zmoothie Auto, our technical team began by crossing two American strains known for their incredible terpene profiles: Tropicana Shoes and Zmoothiez Zignature.

This union combines the sweet and fruity touches of Zmoothiez Zignature with the citrus nuances and vigour of Tropicana Shoes. The result is a hybrid whose terpene profile captures the essence of these two flavour palettes in a delicious balance.

With this cross, we already had one of the parents, which was an impressive variety on its own. The next logical step was to cross this plant with an autoflower to add the autoflowering characteristic; but the other half of this marriage also needed to be the perfect partner to further enhance the magnificent flavour we had already achieved.

And that's why we decided to cross it with Mandarin Panties Auto. It was a decision worthy of the best collectible seed sommelier, as this autoflower strain not only gave it the ability to flower automatically, eliminating any dependence on the photoperiod, but also added delicate tangerine notes and a truly balanced effect.

• Germinate your seeds in compressed peat discs (Jiffy).
• Once germinated, place your seedling in the final pot. To achieve monstrous yields, make sure the pot is at least 11 litres.
• For good soil aeration, which is crucial for autoflower genetics, mix the soil with a more aerated medium, such as coco fibre or perlite, in a ratio of ¾ soil to ¼ of the other substrate.

Growing Tips

Tropical Zmoothie Autoflower is ideal for indoor cultivation, as its medium size does not cause space problems.

• The SOG (Sea of Green) technique can be a good bet to maximise yield potential.
• Apply light cycles of at least 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness (or 20/4), from germination to harvest.
• Do not apply pruning or training techniques such as LST or SCROG. However, Lollipopping (removing small unproductive branches from the lower areas) can help maximise its yield.

When grown outdoors, Tropical Zmoothie Auto will reach its maximum potential when planted in the warmest months and with maximum sun exposure. In the northern hemisphere, in Mediterranean climates, this gem can be grown from late April to mid-October. Considering that its life cycle is very short (65-70 days), you can have several harvests throughout the outdoor season.

Irrigation requires special attention, as autoflowers are sensitive to overwatering.

• During the first three weeks of the plant's life, water frequently, but in small quantities. Make sure the soil does not become completely waterlogged.
• A trick for the first fifteen days of life is to water only half of the pot at a time, alternating sides with each watering. This way, you ensure that there is always a part of the substrate oxygenated.
